Workshop title: mBraining: coaching the neurology of the heart and gut
Neuroscience has shown that we don’t just have one brain, but three! Apart from the brain in our head that everyone knows about, we also have a brain in our heart and in our gut. That is in itself fascinating, but how can we actually apply those discoveries to coaching?
That is the question that Grant Soosalu and Marvin Oka asked themselves and by combining neuroscience with behavioural modelling and a number of different disciplines, they created a powerful model for how the intelligences in all three brains can be accessed and aligned to bring greater clarity, strength and wisdom to our decisions and choices.
Their coaching model, known as mBraining or mBIT (multiple Brain Integration Techniques) was first published in 2012 and has since spread to over 30 countries, with thousands of certified mBIT coaches worldwide. By some, it is used as a stand-alone coaching technique and by others as a complement to other methods and approaches.
This workshop gives you an introduction to mBraining, where you will get to learn more about this new approach to coaching. You will gain an insight in to the language of our different intelligences and how you can spot these when you are coaching. Through several practical exercises, you will also get to experience what mBIT coaching is like while having some fun in the process!
